I’m Ruth, a Pilates and Movement Specialist with over 25 years of experience in guiding individuals toward greater strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. My journey began at the Royal Academy of Dance in London (from 1995 to 1998) where my Ballet training introduced me to the amazing benefits of Pilates. It quickly became clear to me that Pilates was an invaluable tool for body maintenance and injury prevention, sparking a lifelong passion.
In 1998, I moved to Hong Kong to teach ballet and to further immerse myself in the world of Pilates. During my seven years at Isofit, a renowned Pilates studio in Hong Kong, I had the opportunity to deepen my practice by training with Polestar and learning from a diverse group of experts in Pilates, Gyrotonics, and physiotherapy. This experience enriched my approach and allowed me to develop a unique teaching style.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping thousands of individuals achieve their fitness goals. Many of my students have been with me for over 17 years!
Known for my meticulous attention to detail and genuine care, I ensure that every participant—whether in a studio class or online—receives individualised correction and guidance. My students often comment that my group classes feel like a personal session.
My true passion lies in helping people feel their best, both physically and mentally. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, returning to exercise after pregnancy, or simply aiming to enhance your overall health, I am here to support you every step of the way.
